Textile waste is one of the main environmental issues, the fashion industry is facing. Every year millions of tons of textiles are dumped in the landfills. These left untreated textiles cause clogged landfills, environmental pollution and health hazards.
We create close to 30% of our products out of “deadstock” fabrics. It actually looks better than it sounds. By buying verified leftover and over ordered fabrics from other manufacturers, we’re giving a second life to fabrics that was destined for the landfill. By using deadstock we are not only reducing the textile waste, but also saving energy and decreasing the carbon footprint that would have been expanded in the production of new textiles.
